Volunteer

Join us at the Food Forest!

So many ways to volunteer! If you want to hop right in to something, be sure to check out our Events page to see when you can drop in! Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates. All of our events are open to the public, with the exception of classes which are sometimes pay-to-participate.

Beacon Food Forest has been run by volunteers since it began in 2010. Core volunteers have self-organized into committees that meet regularly and communicate via Slack and/or email. You are welcome to join any of these meetings or join our Slack channels to get more involved- feel free to just observe and ask questions! This is a great place to get to know our core volunteers and see how our work is organized behind the scenes. Check out the team descriptions below and contact us if you want to learn more about a specific team.
